Jeff founded RIZ Designs in 2010, initially operating from his basement in Midwood, Brooklyn. As a strong leader and visionary, he turned the small boutique operation into RiSE, a national firm with a huge range of projects.
Jeff holds a BA from the New York Institute of Technology, has decades of expertise in NYC building and zoning code, and has an impeccable eye for design, all of which have propelled RiSE’s growth in NYC to serve clients nationwide.
Beyond architecture, Jeff’s ventures include partnerships with permit services and special inspection agencies. He also founded various development companies and provides tax and consultation to real estate and development firms, demonstrating his commitment to comprehensive client solutions.

CEO, Master Visionary
Recognizing a common architectural philosophy, Shimon Greenebaum joined forces with Jeff to co-found RiSE Architecture NJ in 2020. Complementing Jeff’s strengths with his own, Shimon helped formed a powerhouse team that spurred RiSE’s exponential growth and nationwide reach.
Shimon holds a Master of Architecture from the Academy of Art University and is a licensed Architect across various states. With many years of diverse architectural experience, including specialized projects for the Orthodox Jewish Community, Shimon brings invaluable expertise to the firm.
As Managing Principal, he fosters a culture of communication, knowledge, capability, and precision.
With Shimon’s leadership, RiSE Architecture has seen exponential growth and has a nationwide presence with a diverse portfolio of projects.
